And the new season of the Golden Globe winning series Mad Men will certainly reinforce this trend and drive further interest in this period. Back for a 3rd season (premiering earlier this week)
it is surely the most stylish show on TV?
Whilst characters Betty Draper & Joan Holloway will inspire new ladylike fashions (note to self: buy a pill box hat!)…the powerful 1960’s New York backdrop will be sure to inspire interior design schemes and product styling.
That will mean more pattern and wonderful pastels: Let’s hope it also leads to cool diner styling and pastel kitchenettes!
