The 0.6 Collective

The 0.6 Collective consists of a great bunch of artists and designers who shared a stand at Designersblock.

Standing on the back row from left to right are Kaniez Abdi, Asma Hussain, Annette Taylor Anderson and Helena Jonasson.

Seated on the front row from the left are Michele Berry of EMBI, Claire Requa of Accent APS and Janiece Wallace of Designer Products Online.

Kaniez Abdi specialises in innovative textile designs and products for both the fashion and interior design industry.

Annette Taylor-Anderson - ATADesigns, designs a beautiful range of contemporary wallcoverings, wall tiles, cushions, lampshades and fabrics.

Michele Berry - EMBI, designs and produces a range of contemporary ceramic products for interiors.

Claire Requa - Accent APS, supplies chandeliers, mirrors, clocks, lampshades and interior home accents from her studio in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Mark Finzel

Also attending 100% Design were Dina and Oliver, from Morocco, representing designer Mark Finzel, supplier of distinctive fabrics, laminates and wallpapers.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Dina and Oliver. However, I talked to Oliver for 15 minutes, during which time he continually smiled and nodded his head, when it suddenly became apparent to me that he didn't speak a word of English. Luckily Dina was at hand to translate.

Accent APS

Claire Requa and Partner - Accent APS

Originally from Jamaica, Claire has spent many years living and working in Copenhagen where she created Accent APS.

Accent supply a wide range of Chandeliers, Mirrors, Clocks, Lampshades, Jewellery and interior accent furnishings.

As a new client of Designer Products Online I look forward to working with Claire and hope that we have a very successful future.

Chichi - The Rocking Piano

Sarah Davenport and her mum 'Mig' worked tirelessly throughout the show, presenting Chichi - the Rocking Piano. Chichi was reintroduced to Designersblock following a two year travel around the country and originates from Nottingham.

A wide variety of visitors were allowed free reign to rock and play the piano and over the 4 days a fantastic atmosphere was created within Designersblock.
